Abstract

Summary This was an event in which students learnt how to enhance their competence in the use of skills relevant to studies in science; and in which tutors learnt how to enhance their competence in tutoring science with an emphasis on transferable skills. Both groups learnt and developed (almost simultaneously) in similar ways, and were facilitated according to the same principles.
