Abstract

Building a strategic vision by listening to customers can be a difficult challenge and is one which needs to be answered according to the specific nature of a market and the culture of the engaging companies. For more than ten years, Atos has followed a model based upon a “Scientific Community” which is chaired by the CEO and comprises around 150 people from a wide range of skill and experience backgrounds. Each member dedicates around 20% of their time to help collectively build an evolving five-year future view of technology and business. This vision is published every two years and made available in the public domain. It is used as the catalyst for cocreation customer innovation workshops conducted in one of Atos’ nine Business and Technology Innovation Centers around the world.
