Presentation of CaseA 62-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of progressive obstruction of the left nasal cavity by a mass.There was a 14-year history of seasonal allergic rhinitis associated with intermittent nasal obstruction; evaluation elsewhere was reported to show allergy to wheat, other grains, dusts, and grasses. During the two years before admission the obstructive symptoms worsened. Two months before entry the left nasal obstruction was constant, and the patient became aware of the sensation of a left nasal mass.
