Abstract
Transitions from the 4 p 4 D J 0 levels in Ar II have been studied by using the beam—foil method. Using the ANDC method for cascade corrections we have determined the lifetimes of the 4 p 4 D 7/2, 5/2, 3/2, 1/2 0 levels. The results are compared with experimental and theoretical lifetimes.
