Abstract

Abstract. - During the period between World War I and World War II, territorial claims were numerous, often based on ethnical and linguistic considerations. These polemical affirmations are often reflected by the maps contained in the european atlas published at that time. This paper deals about the representation of the contested areas along french-german, polish and italian boundaries, in german, polish and italian atlas.
