Abstract Carpenter V.S.M. is a molybdenum, chromium steel which offers good resistance to heat checking, provides high hot hardness and good resistance to wear and abrasion at elevated temperatures. It is recommended for valve and bearing components. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
