Abstract
Background and Aims: Leukocyte telomere length (LTL) is a putative biological marker of early ageing, and there are demonstrated associations between LTL and cardiovascular disease (CVD). This may be partly due to the relationship of LTL with other biomarkers associated with cardiovascular disease risk (CVR). Aims: to determine age differences in the association between LTL and CVR.
