Abstract

In recent years, wild plants of different families have been widely used in medical practice. Campanulaceae is one these families. The Campanulaceace family includes six genera in Azerbaijan. The genus Campanula is richer in the number of species. Campanula saxifraga subsp. aucheri (A.DC.) Ogan. is one of the species of this genus that arouses interest. The plant C. saxifraga subsp. aucheri (A.DC.) Ogan. was collected for research in August 2022, from an alpine meadow at an altitude of 3200 m above sea level, in the Goygol district of the Or-dubad region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The amount of flavonoids in the air part of the plant in comparison with rutin was calculated to be 2,93% by the spectrophotometric method, which was validated ac-cording to certain parameters. The conducted study gives grounds to believe that in the future C. saxifraga subsp. aucheri will expand the range of medicinal plant materials containing flavonoids.
