Abstract
Predicted levels of calving performance were obtained for Simmental and Hereford sires with varying proofs for case of calving when used on various ages of cows. Predictions were based on multiple regression from records on the progeny of sires with proofs for calving case in the National Sire Monitoring Program. Values can be used as guidelines by producers to predict calving performance associated with proofs for calving case. Key words: Calving case, beef sire evaluation, beef cattle performance
