Abstract

Introduction: Life Quality (LQ) covers aspects that are common in all person. To be a foreign implies that the person had significant changes in his life. Objective: To evaluate the life quality of foreign students from Nursing, Physical Education and Sports Science (LEF) and Physiotherapy programs. Material and methods: Descriptive and cross sectional study. It was applied the instrument emotional quality life of the foreign student with 55 questions. Cronbach's alpha of 0.9, validated and piloted. Students who don t are from Queretaro city were selected to participate in the study, that have to move of a distant municipality to the city or another condition to study; age more than 18th, men and women. Results: 147 instruments were applied to students from all the semesters of each degree, 35 from nursing, 55 from LEF and 57 from Physiotherapy. Conclusions: life quality of the foreign students who study at UAQ are substantially in low levels. This can imply diverse sources of stress, what can reverberate in the health and the academic performance. It is important to have in mind to reinforce the tutorial aspect in these students.
