Abstract

The best basis for radiometric calibrations is a set of primary standard detectors and primary standard sources. Selection of the best working standard is a complex decision which can be assisted by a table of all possible detectors or sources and their features, which can be weighted in importance. Such a table is included as an example, but shows that no ideal working standard detector for low-power levels is available.
