Abstract

It is recommended in IEC 60060‐2:2010 that measuring systems employed in high‐voltage impulse tests of electric apparatuses are calibrated directly or indirectly through comparison with a national standard. Japan High‐voltage Impulse testing Laboratory Liaison has attempted to establish a calibration scheme of impulse‐high‐voltage measuring system traceable to national standards in cooperation with Japan Electric Meters Inspection Corporation. In this paper, the calibration of the working‐standard measuring systems employed in the established calibration scheme are introduced. Nextly, uncertainties of the calibration by the established scheme are explained. Finally, the traceability system of the established calibration scheme is presented. © 2021 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. Published by Wiley Periodicals LLC.
