Abstract
This paper describes a calibration of diffusion cup equipped with CR-39 which is used for the measurement of radon concentration. The values of calibration factors were determined applying experimental method. The counting of α track density was done using two optical microscopes each one with two maginifications. The values of calibration factors are 7.10±0.56, 6.21±0.60, 5.72±0.49 and 5.53±0.86 (Bq day m −3)(track cm −2) on magnification 125x, 160x, 400x and 500x respectively.
