Abstract

A method of calculating the transit losses of electric power for external consumers, supplied from the radial networks of electric power supply systems, is described. The method is based on separating the contributions of individual consumers from the overall load losses of electric power in the network. Theoretical expressions for the load loss for an individual consumer are presented, which enable both the quantity of electric power transmitted to the consumer and the profile of the consumer load chart to be taken into account.
