Abstract
Transmission line of high voltage direct current (HVDC) is different from that of high voltage alternating current (HVAC). It produces ion flow and space charge in the air. Space charges enlarge electric field under the HVDC transmission line. Under the basis of Deutsch's assumption, the flux line method is used in modeling and calculating electric field under HVDC transmission line. Bundle conductors are taken into account. Calculating result shows that distribution of electric field under HVDC transmission lines with bundle conductors has feature different from that with single conductor.
