Abstract

Equations are given for calculating decoupling intensities and for using such values to determine proton chemical shifts from carbon-13 spectra. The data needed for each calculation are from two spectra, each obtained by the technique of off-resonance proton spin decoupling at a discrete frequency. An estimate of possible errors is given for a limited range of experimental parameters.
