Calculation by the method of direct linearization of mixed parametric oscillations and self-oscillations with a non-ideal energy source

Abstract

Calculation by direct linearization of mixed parametric and self-oscillations with a non-ideal energy source and polynomial characteristics of elastic and friction forces of a sufficiently general form is considered. Equations of nonstationary and stationary motions are derived and stability conditions for steady-state oscillations are determined. Calculations are performed to obtain information on the amplitude-frequency dependence and stability of oscillations.
