Abstract
Cable ampacity is always concerned by the electric power operating and scheduling engineerer. Calculation of cable ampacity is quite complex and calculation error is hard to evaluate because there are many influencing factors and some factors is changeable. Furthermore, on account of current power cable's manufacture, laying and operation circumstances are much different from before which also will have an effect on cable ampacity. Thus, the author calculates cable ampacity in different conditions by adopting iterative method and gives contrast analysis with relevant test results. It indicates that calculation value and test result coincide with each other.
