Abstract
In order to determine the reasonable value of the equivalent damping ratio of the new-pattern corrugated steel web(CSW) composite box girder bridge, the calculation formula of the equivalent damping ratio of each mode of the new-pattern CSW box girder bridge is derived from the principle of equal damping equivalent before and after complex frequency. The dynamic analysis model of a new type of corrugated steel web combined box girder is established by the finite element software, and the equivalent damping ratio of the novel combined structure is calculated and compared with the test result of the real bridge. The results show that the calculation method of equivalent damping ratio based on the principle of equal complex frequency before and after damping equivalence has clear and clear physical meaning and can accurately reflect the damping energy dissipation characteristics of a new type of CSW composite box girder bridge. The equivalent damping ratio of the new-pattern CSW composite box girder bridge is obtained by using the relationship between complex frequency and lag damping coefficient, which is in good agreement with the test results of the real bridge. In the analysis of dynamic characteristics of the new-pattern CSW composite box girder bridge, the equivalent damping ratio is recommended to be 0.03.
