Abstract

The Board of Directors of the College Art Association of America in April 1968 voted to address itself to the problems of art departments in small colleges, either Negro or white. Independently a study was made by Professor Mary Rouse of Indiana University on art programs in Negro colleges from a grant with the Office of Education (available upon request).
