Abstract
Simple correlations between the bulk modulus ( B), effective nuclear charge ( Z̄) and refrative index are given for compound and ternary chalcopyrite semiconductors. Bulk modulus and electronic polarizabilities are evaluated. Results are in good agreement (±15%) with experimental values.
