Abstract

Objective To construct professional competence evaluation index system of double-qualified nursing teachers in higher vocational colleges. Methods From November 2017 to March 2018, on the basis of literature review and semi-structured interviews, the professional competence evaluation index system for double-qualified teachers was developed through two rounds of expert consultation. Results The experts were highly motivated. The effective recovery rates of the two rounds of consultation questionnaires were 94.4% and 100% respectively. The expert authority coefficient was 0.846 and 0.885, and the coefficient of variation was less than 20%. The final index system included five first-level indicators, 20 second-level indicators and 50 third-level indicators. Conclusions In this study, the experts' positive coefficient and authority are high and the experts' opinions are unanimous. The preliminary construction of the evaluation index of professional competence of double-qualified nursing teachers in higher vocational colleges can provide reference for the selection, training and evaluation of nursing teachers.
