Abstract

According to the developing history of electronic design automation (EDA) tools and computing hardware, today's mainstream EDA tools are developed and built on UNIX and UNIX-like Linux platform. But the widespread of desktop computer increase the potential to use these EDA tools on Microsoft Windows platform. Since application programs built for specific platform couldn't be executed on other platform, unless rewriting the entire program. The study proposed a technique to compile a program on the platform which is different from it was developed and built. And practical implementation of the proposed technique with a published EDA tool will also perform in this paper.
