Abstract

Building digital trust is recently recognized as one of the important tasks for the leaders. Digital trust is essential both inside and outside the organization, especially in building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders. Digital trust is different than offline trust on the following parameters: physical distance, absence of simultaneous existence in time and space, and lack of non-verbal communication. The aim of the chapter is to describe how digital trust is built in business. The chapter consists of the following parts: definition of digital trust, building of digital trust in business, and conclusions with the description of future research ideas.
