Abstract

This study develops a decision model for an additional distribution centre to meet the increasing demand for automobile aftermarket parts in China. It is based on the information from an automobile manufacturing enterprise in China. In this research, an improved 0-1 mixed integer programming model is adopted to determine the location of an automobile spare parts distribution centre. This research includes the characteristics of automotive aftermarket parts and adopts different weights of the total number of ton-km into two phases, which improves the mixed integer programming model and successfully establishes the location model of a parts distribution centre.
