<h3>The New Roumanian Health Bill</h3> The committee under the presidency of State Secretary Moldoveanu has elaborated the final draft of the new health law, which will permit only duly qualified doctors of the medical sciences to practice. Physicians with foreign diplomas have to pass an examination in pharmacology, public hygiene and forensic medicine in the Roumanian language before being licensed. To be denominated a specialist, one must pursue special studies for two years in clinics or university institutions and be examined by a special board of two professors of the respective branch of medicine, and the dean of the medical faculty of Bucharest, Cluj, Jassy or Czernowitz universities. Exceptions are made with those specialists who have practiced their specialty ten years. Without the permission of the ministry of health, no public laboratories can be opened. Candidates desiring to open Wassermann or other kinds of bacteriologic, histologic and food analyzing laboratories
