Abstract

"Brouwer's Fixed Point Theorem" was named after the Dutch mathematician "L. E. J. Brouwer". This theorem states that for every continuous function "f" mapped onto itself at a given interval, has at least one fixed point such that "f(x0) = x0". The proof of this theorem uses what is called "Sperner's Lemma" (by Emanuel Sperner), which would be the one focused on inorder to help understand "Brouwer's Fixed Point Theorem".
