Abstract
A broadband circularly polarised (CP) microstrip antenna in a two-sided structure is presented. The newly developed transmission line model of the microstrip antenna and the simplified real frequency technique are employed to design the lossless matching networks. Measurements show that the designed CP antenna has broad gain bandwidth, good polarisation purity, and low input VSWR.
