Abstract

This study is devoted to the study of cooperation between the United Kingdom and the United States in the North Atlantic region. This work is relevant due to the escalation of existing contradictions in Europe and the countries adjacent to the basin of the Atlantic Ocean North, as well as the current conflict in Ukraine. The article talks about the increasing importance of control over the above-mentioned water area for London and Washington in the light of global trends and the difficulties associated with this. The problems affecting the control of the waters of the Atlantic Ocean North can be divided into internal and external. Domestic policy issues of the United States and the United Kingdom related to this issue include the economic and industrial crisis, issues of the decision-making system, the need to reform the political and military structure. External complications include the existing contradictions in several closed seas, incomplete local conflicts and the growing power of the powers called the challenge.
