Abstract

The Maracaibo Photography Diploma completed ten years of uninterrupted teaching activities last year, during which time it has carried out ten cohorts and graduated just over 300 people. In the curricular area, it is made up of three modules of ten classes each and 40 academic hours, giving a total of 30 study meetings and 120 classroom hours. The order in which the modules are taught is as follows: History, Equipment Management, as well as Composition and Aesthetics; promoting throughout all of them, in a transversal way, the values ??of ecological conservation, the search for social justice and the preservation and dissemination of Venezuelan culture. In the essay that we present below, we wanted to document both the most important achievements obtained, as well as the main vicissitudes faced.
