Abstract

Globally, there has been an increase in multiple births by a third. For every 42 children, one will be a twin.1 With multiple births on the rise, health care professionals must be able to support parents of multiples. In this article we focus on the additional challenges of breast/chestfeeding more than one baby. Katie Stimpson shares her experience of breastfeeding her twins, while Kathryn and Krystyna share some tips for supporting parents.
