Abstract

Brazilian Higher Educational Institutions have an important function in transforming the social reality of the people and the Brazilian National Education Plans accent this role in its goals. In this paper we will reflect on the role of the Brazilian Higher Educational Institutions in building an inclusive society, with social responsibility, based on the National Education Plans and a numerical analysis of information provided by National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anisio Teixeira (INEP) in their Technical Briefs oh the Census of Higher Education.
