Perhaps one of the most neglected areas in the whole field of brain damage is one in which the damage is minimal and diffuse. Cerebral Palsy is a term applied to a disturbance of motor function resulting from damage to the brain before, during or after birth. They are disorders of symbolic formulation and expression, and are a result of damage or lack of maturation of the associational areas of the brain.
