Abstract
The first reliable record for Russia and description of rare species Brachydontium trichodes are provided. The locality in Russia: Far East, Kamchatka Peninsula, 52°32′ N, 158°12′ E, alt. 850 m, slope of Mutnovskii Volcano. Previous records of the species in Russia (Caucasus, Ural) are erroneous. Comparison of Brachydontium trichodes with B. olympicum is given.
