Abstract
This work aims to discern the actions that Fritz Klein, who was stationed in Iraq and Iran representing the Turkish and German partnership during the First World War, carried out with his team at relevant points. The study seeks answers to two key questions in this context. The first is to reveal whether Fritz Klein's actions with his team represent more of the wishes and ambitions of the Turkish side or the German side. The second is to reveal the alignment of the Turkish-German alliance in Iran and Iraq on the axis of the Fritz Klein mission. In order to answer these two questions, the documents and memorabilia of some soldiers were mainly used in the Ottoman Archives. Thus, Fritz Klein and his team's activities in Iraq and Iran focused on a different method of work, mostly based on German sources, and the originality of the work was tried to be revealed. As a result, the study seeks to determine the alignment of the Turkish-German alliance during the war on a specific field, mediating the formation of a brainstorm. As a result of this brainstorming, it is aimed to read the Turkish-German relations more clearly.
