Abstract
I am honored and excited to contribute to this column. First, I would like to thank Francesca Vipiana for the invitation, and I am happy to share my personal experience as a female microwave professor at the Alma Mater Studiorum—Università di Bologna, Italy, where I started my career as a student and continued it until I reached the role of full professor in 2018.
