Boundary Element Method for Kirchhoff Type Plate Bending Problems by the Nonsingular Integration Technique

Abstract

In this paper a process has been suggested by placing the source points outside the domain for the solution of boundary integration equations of Kirchhoff type plate bending problems. A series of sample computations have been done for showing this sort of integration technique being efficient not only for the simplicity in programing works but also with less computational costs. For many problems with apparent engineering interestings the suggested process also seems to be of good accuracy in computations
