Abstract

In the Prasad-Sommerfield limit, we argue that there are bound states of fermion monopole of theSU5 ground unification inN=1 supergravity with a24 and a5 of Higgs superfields. We show that there is not anyJ=0 bound-state energy of the fermion in renormalizable minimalSU5 without local supersymmetry and a bound state is possible in the model with locally supersymmetric theories. Furthermore, we show the existence of zero-energy solutions, and find evidently a zero-energy solution in theSU5 model with special Higgs-fermion superfield coupling constants.
