Abstract
Abstract A series of 8 treatments were applied to Boston sword ferns in 6 inch pots in the Purdue Entomology greenhouse on May 31 '79- Treatments were applied with a B & G stainless steel one gallon compressed air sprayer operating at 30 psi. A single potted fern comprised a plot. Two weeks post treatment the numbers of live and dead nymphs were counted under a dissecting microscope from 10 leaflets per treatment. The experiment was replicated four times
