Abstract

The book reviewed is, "Digital Microwave Communication: Engineering Point-to-Point Microwave Communication" (Kizer, G.; 2013). Microwave point-to-point communication have been used for cellular backbone communication, satellite communication, in linking remote telephone exchanges to main exchanges, and also for short-range indoor communications. This book provides a good perspective on the challenges and techniques for enabling long distance point-to-point microwave communication, useful not only for microwave communication engineers but also general practitioners and students.
