Abstract
This report will be of interest to all nuclear medicine and physics staff who use gamma cameras and associated computer systems. It has been written by a group of experts in the field of nuclear medicine quality control, namely the Radionuclide Topic Group of the Institute of Physical Sciences in Medicine, and replaces the Hospital Physicists Association's earlier report (TGR27) on the theory, specification and testing of Anger type gamma cameras, published in 1978.
