Abstract

Abstract Construction and features of new thin layer detectors for integrating solid state dosemeters, particularly thermoluminescence dosemeters based on LiF:Mg,Ti are described. Simultaneous application of high pressure and elevated temperature causes plastic flow of the LiF powder grains and physico-chemical bonding with aluminium substrates (Al/LiF-detectors), or with graphite substrates provided with a boron bonding layer and an Al2O3 reflection layer (C/B/Al2O3/LiF detectors).
