Abstract
Abstract The paper describes in detail the operation of the boiler plant of the Colfax Station of the Duquesne Light Co., located at Cheswick, Pa. There are included sample analyses of fuel and ash, the piping schedule, temperature and CO2 records, typical water analyses, observations of dissolved oxygen in boiler feedwater, boiler-test data and a typical heat balance covering four months.
