Abstract

Abstract The block decoupling of a linear right-invertible system by dynamic compensation is studied. The system structure of the block-decoupled system is clarified from the viewpoint of the closed-loop poles. A dynamic compensator that realizes block decoupling and arbitrary pole assignment is proposed. Two examples are given to illustrate the design procedure of the dynamic compensator and its effectiveness.
