Abstract

The possibilities of processing materials with hardness up to 65 HRC with carbide end mills are shown. Examples of milling hardened tool steels and sandwich-type materials based on structural steels with high-hardness surfacing are given. The results of the use of various types and brands of tools are considered. A method for controlling the dynamic parameters of a cutting system for high-hardness materials based on controlled acoustic emission is described.
