Abstract
Abstract A 34-year-old male patient came with complaints of a twisting injury to the left foot. There was a diffused swelling present in the left foot. The patient had tenderness at the base of the second metatarsal. On X-ray of the left foot, no obvious bony injury was seen, but there was a transverse split seen in the medial hallucal sesamoid bone. The patient was managed symptomatically, and he recovered completely.
