Abstract
New ammonites collected in the uppermost Barremian in SE France confirms the ammonite zonation established by the International Geological Correlation Project 262, and leads to propose six new horizons: the Camereiceras limentinus Horizon in the Heinzia Sartousiana Zone, the Hemihoplites feraudianus and Emericiceras magnini Horizons in the Hemihoplites feraudianus Zone, the Imerites giraudi and Heteroceras emerici Horizons in the Imerites giraudi Zone and the Leptoceratoides puzosianum Horizon in the Martelites Sarasini Zone. These new horizons have a strong potential for inter-regional correlation.
