Summary

Introduction

Heterocyclic compounds are playing key role in the drug discovery and design because of their different types of biological properties. Pyridazine is the important class of compounds due to their diverse pharmacological activities This privileged structure attracts the interest of medicinal chemists as a nucleus of potential therapeutic utility[9,10,11]. Pyridazinones is an important class of compounds mainly due to their diverse biological activities like analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, herbicidal, antifungal, antituberculotic, anti-AIDs, antitumour, antihypertensive, anticonvulsant, anticancer, and antiviral activities[16,17,18,19,20]. The introduction of a nitrogen atom into the benzo ring of phthalazines leads to pyridopyridazines This scaffold can be functionalized at different ring positions, which makes it attractive compound for designing and development of the new pyridopyridazine drugs[21,22]. Pyridopyridazine nucleus showed antiasthmatic[31], antidiabetic[32], antituberculosis[33] and antimicrobial activities[34]
