Abstract
The master of ceremonies! MC2050, a new water-soluble quinazoline-based PARP-1 inhibitor, exerts a cytoprotective effect against oxidative stress in SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells by abolishing the toxic effect of H2O2 and counteracting PARP-1 overactivation. Moreover, pretreatment of lytic-cycle-induced Raji cells with MC2050 leads to the modulation of EBNA1 protein expression.
