Abstract
We tested radiolocalization of pancreatic carcinoma xenografts in nude mice with recombinant mouse/human chimeric Fab fragment (chimeric Fab) of A10 anti-CEA monoclonal antibody (MAb). When compared to the parental A10 MAb, we obtained higher tumor to normal tissue labeling ratios and clearer tumor detection using chimeric Fab. No significant difference in tumor to normal tissue ratio was observed between the chimeric Fab and murine Fab fragment prepared from the A10 MAb. Our results indicate that chimeric A10 Fab may be a potential candidate for localization of pancreatic carcinoma studies.
